What is love?

In the society there are 8 types of love

But there are 4 types of love the Bible talks about
1. Storge: Based on family and it develops over time. This is the love you have for family and it is automatic. Luke 8:40-56 John 11 Exodus 20:12

Love begets honor

2. Eros: This is the love that is needed in marriages but it has been abused by single people

Feelings are chemicals, It doesn’t imply love

If you do not have the love of God in you, every woman you see will be attractive to you

This Eros love doesn’t just happen it grows over time
Romans 5:18-19

Eros love is not love at first sight

3. Philia: The love for people not necessarily family members or things. The love for pets, objects or someone you’ve known over time.

You can have philia for someone at first sight but you must be careful not to let it get to the extreme.

Sometimes it’s not also love at first sight, you may not even like the person at first.

4. Agape : God’s kind of love. The love that binds all other kinds of love.

Only God can teach you Agape love.
